| After a long period of quiet, we finally have some good news. Work
has started on The Water Project, which will bring clean
water for drinking, cooking and washing to a community of 1300 people.
THP (Tibet Humanitarian Project). is launching a drive to raise the
funds for this project, which
will cost $250,000,
a healthy sum to raise, but cheap by U.S. standards. |

| We are holding a 'virtual auction' fundraiser on eBay starting
February 3rd through the 13th, ending right before Losar, the Tibetan
new year. In the Tibetan tradition one engages in positive actions
during this time to set the path for
a good year to come.
